This community is to start and continue the discussion on the rebuilding efforts of the World Trade Center site in New York City.

Whether you're for continuing the current efforts of the Freedom Tower and other LMDC projects, rebuilding the Twin Towers, making the entire site a memorial space, or something else altogether, I'd love to hear from you.

This community is for discussing the rebuilding of the site only. It is NOT to discuss the causes of 9/11. It is especially NOT a place to discuss the conspiracy theories about the American government's "involvement" in the attacks (Loose Change, 911 Truth Movement, etc.) There are other communities to discuss this, so they are not to be addressed here. Any user who posts on this community about this will be subsequently banned.

With that in mind, though, we welcome people of all political persuasions. Red, Blue, Green, Purple, whatever. This is not a place to debate general politics, so I really don't care about who you vote for in general elections. This is a place, however, to discuss the political processes involved in the rebuilding of the WTC, so don't be surprised if someone posts something that doesn't automatically mix in with your political beliefs.

This is a place for civil discussion. Think before you type, and then think again before you post. If you have a differing opinion to someone who posts on this community, explain your position with clarity and civility.

While the moderator of the community is for the rebuilding of the Twin Towers (and is a graphic designer for the Twin Towers Alliance), this community will keep all arguments on the rebuilding of the site on the table- and will the moderator will not immediately dismiss it because it differs from his views.
